Over Thanksgiving weekend, I had the privilege of photography a WONDERFUL family named the Kellers. The mom of the crew, Kim, was one of Kyptan’s Kindergarten teachers! Kyptan would cling to every word she spoke to him. You have no idea how many times he would come home and say, “can I color something for Mrs. Keller? Can I make her something? Did you know what Mrs. Keller told me?!” Long story short, she is top notch according to Kyptan and I definitely agree!
We did a family session that included her husband, children, her parents, and Tetnis! Tetnis is a gorgeous 1950’s Dodge truck that her husband found and rehabbed! When Kim first reached out to me and asked if we could do a session that included the truck, I secretly prayed it was something I had envisioned. When the day finally came that I got to see the truck, I was in LOVE! It checked every box that I could think of for the perfect truck for this shoot.
I had such a blast spending the afternoon with their family. Such a great and flexible family. We climbed fences, hopped on top of the truck, in the back of the truck, played on hay bales, trudged through weeds.. you name it and they did it. I don’t think I could have laughed any harder with their family. Kim and her husband, Geoff, were high school sweethearts and my goodness it shows. The photos of the two of them are stunning! Even her parents love is magical. They were so sweet and FUN! Her mom really had posing down – I could learn a thing or two from her! And the children were such a blast. Gorgeous, fun, silly, adventurous kids! There was literally never a dull moment and a smile was never missing.
So please enjoy a glimpse of this sweet family! I just smile when I look at these.
